    My friend and I rented this gorgeous half of a duplex for several years in a row. We typically stayed for the months of Jan.-Mar. There is absolutely nothing negative about our stays. There are several positive things to say about the house and the rental agent staff.
    The house was very well furnished, in excellent shape, everything was always clean, the kitchen drawers and numerous cupboards are well stocked. If we had trouble with something, help was only a phone call away - quick response.
    The owners seemed to add new and different items over the years. When my grandkids saw the ping pong table, they whooped and hollered. That was probably one of the biggest surprises for the kids.
    When they added the very best set of knives I've ever seen (Cuisinart), I took them from the drawer and laid them on the counter so I could take a picture for the company visiting us that year. My son-in-law was ecstatic - because he is the cook.
    Fifth Street has some great people living on it. We certainly enjoyed talking with our neighbors and sharing fresh fish. I would be remiss if I did not mention the waterfront. We enjoyed sitting by the canal and watching for manatees. We also saw fish at times. Once in a while we spotted an iguana.
    We could sleep 8 people comfortably and had 8 passes to the Cabana Club. All we had to do to go to the pool/beach/ocean/bar, etc. is walk a few houses down the street. It really was very convenient to do so. Sometimes we would come home for a couple of hours only to walk down again later in the afternoon when it wasn't quite as hot.
    The very best part of the house was the screened in porch off the second floor large kitchen. We would spend almost every evening relaxing on the porch and watching the sunset. I have two beautiful KCB sunset pictures on my wall in NY - it is like having a small piece of heaven in my home. While the adults were upstairs, the teens would be enjoying the downstairs.     I have been vacationing in the keys for more than 20 years. Unit 138 was by far and away the most completely stocked and well equipped venue we have ever stayed at. From kitchen appliances, utensils, bath towels, beach towels, and board games it had everything we needed for a week of vacation. We will stay here again.

    The house is nicely decorated and well appointed. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of towels and bed linens. The washing machine stopped working halfway through our stay but that was the only hitch.
