It lies directly south of the City of Marathon, spanning a narrow cut. | | | | The city of Key Colony Beach has so many things to do and you can walk to it all! The Cabana Club is located on East Ocean Drive. Relax on the beach or swim some laps in the Olympic size pool. Play tennis and golf on 8th Street. Take the kids to the playground on 7th Street. Watch the sunset from Sunset Park on 12th Street. Charter a boat to go deep sea fishing. Rent a kayak and paddle the day away or take a snorkel or dive trip to see Sombrero Reef. Eat, drink, and be merry! There are 2 restaurants in KCB, the Key Colony Inn, and Havana Jacks. Enjoy an Espresso Martini at the Inn or dining on the ocean at Havana Jacks.   My stay at unit 44 was the most enjoyable month I have spent in the Keys. Everything in the unit it top quality from the linens and towels to the nicely furnished kitchen with top quality silverware. The dock area is perfect with good bumpers and cleats. I will rent this unit next time if it is available.

  The place was easy to get to with plenty of room for our boat. Condo was clean but did not have any toilet paper, paper towels, or a trash bag. When I called and spoke with someone to bring us at least toilet paper, the lady was very rude! Other than that it was a great stay.

  #44 was perfect. Great view, friendly neighbors, pretty clean (could use some deep cleaning) but it was fine. The place could use a new microwave and TV in the master bedroom but other than that, our stay was perfect.

  This was our first time staying in Key Colony & we thoroughly enjoyed it. The plan was to stay 3 weeks but ended up extending it for another week. We had great weather everyday. Our owners were terrific, the neighbors were terrific. We loved taking a beverage down to Sunset Park and watching the sunset. Rented bikes from Bike Marathon Rental Call/Text 305.743.3204. The drop off/pick up available. Bikes in good shape. We went deep sea fishing and visited Docksides, Burdines, Lazy Days and others but these were our favorites. Will definitely will visit again. Rental was comfortable and relaxing, great location, layout was perfect for us as we were working during the days. Loved watching all the boats go by in the canal and loved sitting on the porch. Great view! Visited Key West and Islamorada, enjoyed both. Sombrero Beach is awesome as well and our favorite sandwich place is La Nina - AWESOME! Microwave could use updating but other than that, things were perfect.
