Newer construction 4 bedrooms, 4 baths half-duplex is tastefully furnished. There is a covered porch upstairs with a table and chairs for dining outside. The master bedroom has a king bed and the guest bedrooms have a king and twins respectively. New 60 inch TV with surround sound in the living room! There is a total of 37' of dock space at the wooden dock with electric, water, and a fish cleaning table. It will allow up to 10. This property can also be rented as a 2 or 3 bedroom (excluding mini-dive, opening weeks of lobster, Christmas/New Year). Call for rates. Cabana Club Membership included!

  First of all we have been coming to the keys for many years and never had a problem. But first of all the trash was left from the previous people, we had to sort through the container and separated the recycled things verse trash. There was dirty diapers in there and trash. The fish freezer was in a horrible mess it had blood all over it. We cleaned it out ourselves. The down stairs bathroom was not working we reported it and they said they would send someone out Monday, But that do not happen. My husband and I went fishing and my grandkids went down to the Cabana club to go swimming . Kadence my grandaughter is 28 years old she gave them the address of where we were staying they told her she was a lair and made them all leave. That was horrible to have been called in front of other people and then to make them all get out of the pool. We had very little towels someone later in the evening did bring a few towels back. Really no wash rags. And I am sorry to say but the cleaning of the house was not very good at all there was dirty coffee cups in the cabinet and there was hair in all the bathroom floors. It just seems like there was no cleaning done, but before we left all the towels were washed and folded. All beds were stripped and I had one load in washes and one load in dryer. So that was all done. I am not one to really complain but I was really displeased with the way things were done this trip.

  To start the property was perfect. We have a large group and this place met all our expectations. There was plenty of space for everyone to be involved in anything we did; playing card games, lounging before or after a day in the sun, eating, etc. the canal is very wide so turning the boat around was effortless, The canal is even clean enough to swim in.
  
  The location was perfect for our trips to sombrero reef for snorkeling and fishing the ocean. The boat ramp (MM54) was very convenient and much easier to use than expected. Just be careful with the draft of your boat especially if you launch after dark as we did. There are no markers leading out to the channel so some sort of marine app indicating water depth will be useful. Expect a line of 5-6 boats at the ramp when you leave and the city now enforces a $25 ramp use fee for both putting in and pulling out of the water. Right next to the ramp is The Island Fish Co., an excellent restaurant.
  
  Checking in or out was a breeze. Management had called once the unit was available which happened to be well before check-in. Very convenient.
  
  Just bring enough food for at least your first day of the stay. The grocery stores are packed on Sunday.

  Waited all year long to spend a relaxing week fishing in the Florida keys, and my luck, we had a tropical storm blowing by . This house is very nice and well kept and the dock is perfect to keep your boat out back . WE have stayed here numerous times and will keep coming back . Key Colony is a very low key neighborhood and has a 9 hole golf course and a nice restaurant on the main road . The Cabana club is a nice place to go for a swim and to have a drink by the pool . We will be back .
