HOUSE: Modern-contemporary décor with comfort throughout the house and patio.  PRIVATE PATIO: Relax in the 8 x 12, salt-filtered, heated POOL with 5 jets, underwater LED lights and seating. Enjoy the waterfront, travertine patio with BBQ, loungers, sofas and a coffee/wine table. There is an outdoor dining area for 8 people.
FISHING: A 45 ft. dock located on a 100ft wide canal with the Atlantic and Gulf minutes away via Vaca Cut. Dockside electric hook-up, wash down hose, outdoor shower, cutting table, and bait freezer will allow easy prep/clean-up.
ENTERTAINMENT: Leather, power reclining seating for 4- 6 people. 65 in. smart TV with cable TV. All bedrooms have cable TV. High speed WIFI through property included.
KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances. Small appliances include coffee and tea maker, latte and espresso machine, panini press grill, toaster, and complete cookware. Dining room with waterfront view and seating for 8.

  We stayed two weeks. The home was spacious and clean, but we appreciated the yard and pool the most. Lots of wildlife... got to see some cool birds being right on the canal, manatees (a pod of 13 came through one day), sharks, pretty smaller fish and little jelly fish ☺️ the bikes were nice to use for some exercise and to ride up to the cabana club for a drink and socializing and to hit up sunset beach. We had kayaks delivered, which made our experience, even better, exploring the canals and the bay area.

  Overall good experience. We love Key Colony. House was beautiful, spotless and well appointed, great pool. Fridge wasn’t cooling for 24 hours and signs in bathroom said you couldn’t flush any toilet paper (although management said we could use TP when I inquired after arrival). Aside from these two items the experience was great.

  Property was great, location and amenities were phenomenal. Only issues were we were never given check in process, we eventually just walked into the house after being told we would recieve a phone call on our first day to walk us through where the keys were. We were not able to get ahold of anyone on the phone on a Saturday. We still have not recieved check out instruction/ expectations even though we asked for them, so we did what we thought would be the right thing and clean the house ourselves

  My family and I LOVE Marathon and KCB. Because of this, have been trying a variety different style properties on KCB for a few years now, to figure out exactly how to have the perfect trip. We have done giant homes, 2 story homes, condos, single story homes, and this setup was our absolute favorite with kitchen being on same story as the pool and bedrooms in the front of the house away from the canal. I highly recommend this place and would have given it 5 stars if not for the management company.
  
  Manament co.- First, we paid extra for the pool heating, which was confirmed with management. Upon arrival at 4pm, the pool was cold. I called promptly and asked them to come turn it on knowing office hours were coming to an end. They said they would send someone out asap, but no one showed and the offices closed. The next day was easter so i knew they would be closed. I chose to send messages through the app so they were ready to help first thing Monday. No one returned my calls or messages until mid next day, and when i got someone on the phone, they said "well you will have to pay for it, and we will only move it up 5 degrees." Regardless, i wanted the pool heated for my kids so i asked them to turn it on. They came several hours later and not only didnt discount my weekly rate or pro rate for the days missed, but charged me more than the agreed upon and published rate.
  
  Second, on wednesday the internet and TVs went out. I called the management company and they told me to reset the router, which we did, and it didnt help. I informed them the TVs displayed a message about needing to call customer service to resolve a billing issue, but they insisted on coming to see the message themselves and play with the router. They said they would be over ASAP, but didnt show, didnt call to inform they werent coming, and offices closed again. They showed mid day the following day, only to tell me they in fact had to work it out with owner and took another

  This property was just as described. They had everything you would need for the week. We had a wonderful time. We used the pool everyday and caught lots of fish in the backyard. We ate at many of the restaurants nearby. Enjoyed the beach a couple of days and Key West one day. Make sure you visit Key Colony Inn for Happy Hour. You will not be disappointed.

  This is our second year returning to this property for Thanksgiving vacation. Perfect location and great place to relax! The house is nicely decorated with a few recent upgrades that we did notice! Great sun at the pool until about 4pm. Kitchen is an excellent place to gather at the bar and snack or have breakfast. Beautiful dining table and additional outdoor dining. The location is in a quiet, friendly community extremely close to restaurants, etc. The only downfall we have experienced both years is some difficulty with the pool heater which can be aggravating.

  Very clean, nice appliances and view of the pool from kitchen. Was a bit disappointed with the pool temperature. We had to very young children and were looking forward to getting in the "Heated Pool" as advertised. When I called realtor office to say the pool was very cold I was treated nicely and told someone would be out there to turn on the heater. I called back several hours later to say we saw a lady by the pool controls but it was still cold. At that time I was informed that the pool is not heated in "summer". I would have not rented if I knew we could not use the pool. Summer officially starts June 21 and we have had an unusually cold spring. There was a strong bleach smell in the second bedroom entrance that had some of us sneezing with other respiratory issues. But the biggest disappointment was the very cold pool.

  Our family Vacation was absolutely beautiful, everything was perfect the only 2 complaints is that the kayak did not work that the rental property advertised that we had access to. also no beach access we had to go miles to access the beach!!
  
  Other than that the house was absolutely beautiful perfect size the pool Great. Canal right off of the deck in the backyard was perfect if it was just me and my husband I would definitely rent this again but my children was looking forward to snorkeling and kayaking.
  
  It’s been over a month and I haven’t received my security deposit.. 🤷��‍♀️

    We are glad you enjoyed your stay! Sorry for the problem with the kayak. The owner's have purchased a new tandem kayak to replace the damaged one. Also, you didn't have a refundable deposit. You purchased damage insurance instead.

  We have been coming to the Keys for 20 years. This is my favorite pool and outside area. Unfortunately the inside of the house was very nice and clean but the beds are rock hard and the walls are paper thin. You could hear the dog baking next door and people coughing. Did not get much sleep do to this. Sad to say as much as I loved the pool I will not rent this house again.
