Another half of unit 14. Great for family and/or friends vacationing together. Swing in the hammock or take a ride on the two bikes at your disposal. The master bedroom has a king and a twin bed. The guest bedroom has two doubles. There is a total of 37 feet of seawall dockage to tie your boat up to. Offered for your use during your stay is electric (shore power also), water, lights, and a fish table out by the seawall. **Small pets only allowed at this house (additional fee required).** **Military Discount offered for active duty (excludes Christmas, New Years, Mini-Dive and Opening Lobster weeks)** The other half of this property is also available for rent.

Key Colony Beach is located at MM 53.5 at the northern end of Marathon. The Islands of Marathon span about 15 miles in the Middle Keys, halfway between Key West and Key Largo. The historic Island of Pigeon Key is located at the north end of the 7-mile bridge with its 65-foot high span. The bridge offers easy access to the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean. | | The Island of Marathon is a bird watcher's paradise - spot roseate spoonbills, bald eagles, great blue herons, and much more native to the region. The Marathon Wild Bird Center is located at Crane Point Hammock, a hardwood hammock and natural history museum. | | Kayak and explore the miles of tunnels under the mangroves. Snorkel and dive beautiful natural reefs. We have both shallow and deeper reefs and wrecks for more advanced divers. Every type of saltwater angling is available here! See dolphins and sea turtles in the wild or stop by the Dolphin Research Center of Turtle Hospital for a tour.

  Enjoyed our stay. Plenty of parking for truck and trailer, and it’s great to have covered areas to dry the gear. Afternoon shade on the waterfront is a bonus. Appliances and decor are a bit dated, but everything was clean, comfortable and worked well. We’ll be back!

  We love Key Colony. What we liked the best about this unit is the beds are super comfortable. I spent a good amount of time reading in the shaded hammock too. I have to be honest though and say that there were a lot of flies flying around in the kitchen and it smelled like someone had made a fish dinner the night before. My husband saw a few roaches too. We were only provided 4 towels, 2 hand towels and 1 wash rag for our family of 4 and there were no rugs to step out on after showering. Later in the week I found the rugs folded in one of the closets. I was also disappointed that no beach towels were provided, and I was glad I had brought my own. The family who owns this unit truly seem to have a lot of great memories here and it was really cool to feel like you are a part of the history at the rental. I only wanted to mention the few items above as suggestions for future renters. The space is lovingly decorated and we had a really fun vacation.

  We just completed a enjoyable month at Catching Rays. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were very good. Outside had everything we needed. Excellent sea wall, fish cleaning station, clean gas grill, bait freezer, excellent washer and dryer, and comfortable outdoor furniture.

  This was the second time we stayed at Catching Ray’s. Everything was just like the pictures. The house is very well maintained and very clean.   The property was perfect. We had everything we needed and more. Enjoyed the spacious front yard and were surprised to see the toilet area down stairs. It was so convenient when we were sitting outside at night. We also enjoyed the pool at the Cabana club (along with the drinks and food). If I wanted a second home in the keys, this would be it.
