Turtle Key Cottage
Lovely, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath half-duplex with a large and comfortably furnished screened porch overlooking the canal. This unit features an updated kitchen with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Modern keys style furnishings in the living room with plantation shutters for privacy and light filtering. The center hallway connects to two bedrooms, each having a TV. The king master bedroom has an ensuite bath. The second bath is off the hallway just outside of the bedroom which offers a comfy full and twin bed. A washer/dryer and a refrigerator/freezer are in the outside storage rooms in the covered carport. Nice open yard with 35.8' of stepped down dockage with water and electric (shore power 30 amp) as well as a fish cleaning table. Two bikes are provided to see all of the sights Key Colony Beach has to offer. Rental includes privileges to the Cabana Club with a sandy beach, freshwater heated & cooled pool, and Tiki Bar.

Key Colony Beach is an island city that offers a quiet, safe environment--our own police department, tropical setting with excellent restaurants, boat rentals, charter boats, par three golf course (rental clubs available), tennis, basketball court, children's park, several dog parks and resort-type shopping all within walking distance. Marathon is known throughout the globe for its gulf and deep sea fishing, lobster, snorkeling and dive locations.

  My two sisters and I had a wonderful week in this cozy duplex on a canal. Pluses were the large screened porch with a table for dining and cushioned furniture for hanging out. There was plenty of hot water for showers and the A/C was frigid. We enjoyed watching boats on the canal and the two manatees who visited us during the week. Some concerns were the very hard mattress on the king bed, the lack of TV channels, and the coffee pot that was hard to use as the instructions were worn off the pot. A K-cup coffee maker would be a great addition to the kitchen. We only went one time to the Cabana Club as we went snorkeling every day. We recommend the tour of Pigeon Key, visiting Crane Point, snorkeling in Bahia Honda, as well as Horseshoe Beach. Key Colony Beach is a quiet community with a few restaurants but we only ate out in the Marathon area. Our favorite restaurants were The Sunset Grill on Knights Key, the Cracked Conch for their authentic conch fritters, and Island Fish Company. Overall, I would recommend this comfortable duplex in a unique area of Florida- The Keys

  Pleasantly surprised with the units amenity’s, cleanliness and its location for easy direct Atlantic access was phenomenal. Having the 30AMP and 50AMP provided on the dock was a larger boat captains dream; not to mention how nice a dock this unit provided for a 34’ ride - with a great fish cleaning table, hose on the dock along with we’ll placed pilings that had plastic fenders attached to the each piling.....well done on the dock..
  Also a very well supplied kitchen and nice covered screened patio area with a fan Yah! Yah!!! And the view down the channel to the fuel dock (just minutes away) was absolutely awesome!!!!

  Turtle Key Cottage was perfect for our family. We weren’t spending a lot of time inside do coming back after diving and fishing to a small, cozy, well appointed house was perfect. Having the extra freezer for ice was convenient. And the washer and dryer are really nice. Walking distance to the Cabana Club and a Tiki Bar.

  First time at this location because the unit I had stayed in was sold. This residence is well decorated and maintained by the owners with all the amenities you could possibly want including high speed internet!! The drop down piling dock makes for easy access both in/out of your vessel with a nice fish cleaning station and vessel washdown!! A couple of nice bikes are provided to check out beautifully maintained KCB!! The residence has a great bait/ice freezer/refrigerator which is a plus because I'm offshore most of the time fishing. I've stayed in 8 different locations with a similar footprint over a 40 year span and this residence is by far the best!! My association with KCB Realty has always been enjoyable and the folks are very knowledgeable about the rental portfolio.....Check it out!!

  The house was wonderful. The flow from living room to kitchen, screen porch and outside was terrific.
  Overall very clean but we did clean out the sliding door tracks. The furnishing were great. Could use some more places to hang towels. No hair dryer - we purchased and left one for use. The condition of the home was not perfect, but very acceptable and overall a great place to stay. Highly recommended.
