It was completely stocked inside and outside for the fisherman and woman:) we fished 5 days straight, had a blast. It was super clean and Key Colony is very quiet and peaceful.   Always a pleasure to stay in one of Key Colony Beach Realty’s rentals. We chose this home this year because we didn’t have our (now adult) children with us and this one is just right for one or 2 couples. Spent a little time at the Cabana Club getting pool drinks by the pool and beach. Both are very close. A nice quiet street to walk our Corgi that came along as well. Canal is central to both bay and ocean sides.

  We had a great time in Key Colony Beach. This home was perfect for our group, 2 couples and a dog. Clean and well kept. The rental staff was very responsive. We kept our boat at the dock and snorkeled, fished in the gulf, rode around the canals. Also took a ride to Islamorada to visit Robbie’s. There are a ton of great restaurants nearby in Marathon. You can get to a few of them by boat. We ate at some of our favorite spots: Sparkys, Sunset Bar and Grill and Island Fish Company. We love the Cabana Club, great to jump in the pool after a day of boating. They also have a terrific light menu and drinks. Coffee on the dock in the morning and sunset cruises in the evening and then drinks under the lighted tiki hut. Perfect vacation, we have stayed here before and we are ready to go back!

  We loved location, dock, and tiki hut. We had trouble finding two of the four mattresses we could use comfortably for two months...this is being addressed for 2023.great kitchen supplies. We enjoyed Dolphin Research Center, the New Mexican restaurant on the causeway, and delightful neighbors. Played bocchi ball, boated, went to the pool which is always crowded, explored state park beaches and relaxed! Instacart groceries at Publix to save time!

  Let me start by saying that we have vacationed in Key Colony many times and loved our rental. This time we got a good deal but this unit was not clean. I would have rather paid more and got a clean unit. The location was not ideal either. It was across from the water treatment plant and most of the time it smelled bad. Casey as always was great and refunded the cleaning fee, but still not great when you have to clean or feel that you are staying in a dirty place.

  The stay was very nice. The place was a little dated, missing some basic needs (paper towels, dish detergent, more than 1 garbage bag, etc). Places we have stayed in the past had a week's worth of these items, so we didn't need to shop for TP, PT, etc. There was an issue with the front door lock, and the management company had someone out asap. That was fantastic! The washer is off-balance, so even a small load bounces around (very loudly). The ceiling fans were not cleaned, and the backyard was not picked up, but everything else was top notch cleaned

  We had another nice stay in KCB. The unit was perfect for our needs. The kitchen is overstocked with everything you need to prepare a meal but we like to dine out. You never know about dinign experiences in the keys...Sparky's Landing, The Stuffed Pig and Barcudda Grill never dissapoint us. Castaways and Sunset Grill were not great. We tried The Hideaway on Grassy Key for the first time for dinner, fantastice meal! Very pleasant evenings out back at the tiki hut. The unit is small but we had plenty of room for 4. I would definately rent this unit again.

  We have stayed here before, it’s an excellent value. The home is comfortable and meets our needs. Everything needed for cooking and caring for our family is furnished inside. We love having our boat at the dock, right outside the door. The pool and amenities are very nice, but the big attraction for us is the water. The Gulf and Atlantic Ocean are blocks away. So much to do in beautiful surroundings.

  There til 5:00. Lock box on door didn’t work properly. Cleaning guy had to fix for us. There was only one key provided to use instead of two. TV in bedroom dosent work.   The experience was a no contact experience. I wasnt able to access the property until 5 pm on Saturday because the housekeeper had some uncontrollable issues arise during the day. That's ok, things happen. The house was clean and as described. It might not be the best set up for elderly, the steps are a little steep and railings are in an out of the way location. The house was well equipped and very adequate for a vacation rental.
