Key Colony Beach is located in the Heart of the Florida Keys at mile marker 53.5 on US Highway 1 which is known locally as the Overseas Highway. Driving south from Miami on US 1, the Keys begin about mile marker 106 in Key Largo and extend to mile marker 0 in Key West. The city called the Gem of the Florida Keys, on an island just south of the Overseas Highway connected via a causeway with a very small bridge. | | | | Most residences are on canals with quick access to the Gulf or the Atlantic Ocean or have ocean views which make the city ideal for fishing and boating activities.     First night, curtains and rod broke away from the wall. Slat on the slider fell off. First floor bedroom curtains and sliders were awful looking. Couches and chair could use a cleaning. First time in a unit that didn't have at least a sponge or some sort of cleaning product to keep the kitchen clean. The management company was very responsive.

    We always stay in Key Colony when visiting the Keys. It has everything we need and can accommodate our family easily. We added an extra 4 guests this time and we still had plenty of space. Casey is always at the ready to help out when something comes up. Always a pleasure and we look forward to next year. The only suggestion would to have a few more kitchen items and maybe kayaks.
