  We enjoyed staying in The Salty Seahorse! The interior is modern and clean. Having King size beds in each room was a treat and the twin bed in the upstairs canal side room was helpful. There was plenty of seating for our party of five in the living room. The dining room table on the street side porch had plenty of chairs and the table extends for a larger party than 6. Our kids enjoyed the new pool and the close proximity to the Cabana Club. We all enjoyed the four porches!
  
  The downstairs gameroom is an unfinished garage that looks nicer in the picture than in person, so it wasn't a room that we hung out in for watching TV.
  However, the kids enjoyed shooting pool and playing ping pong and there are TVs in all three bedrooms if you really need an extra TV room. The boat slip worked for our 17' Whaler, but docking a large boat in that corner could prove challenging if the neighbors on both sides have large boats docked at the same time. We only had to maneuver around one.
  
  This is our sixth trip to Marathon and our fifth to Key Colony Beach. KCB is such a wonderful community and the locals are friendly! They play the 1812 Overture as the sun is setting in Sunset Park every night, followed by a local song "The Islands of Marathon". During our stay they had musicians playing on Sundays from 5-7 before sunset. They also have a Farmers Market on Tuesdays from 9-2 outside of the Town Hall. We were fortunate to be there for the annual St Patrick's Day parade this year! We enjoyed great meals at Sparky's and Brutus and ice cream at Conch Custard. The kids had a blast on the Rhum Runner at The Lagoon on Grassy Key. We highly recommend KCB and this home!
